Scaffolding in Education

Scaffolding is to help your students examine their understanding of a topic as deep as they can. They discover previously unrealized connections in subject material. That makes them better problem solvers and learners. Scaffolding is breaking down the learning process, so they can build their understanding one step at a time (like a scaffold).
